Repairs & Service

Pens Plus offer a full repair service of vintage and modern writing equipment. If you would like to have your pen(s) repaired please send it to us by registered post, packed securely and well protected with a note stating the problem. Upon receipt, we will e-mail or telephone with a quotation for your approval. It is not possible to give a proper estimate without seeing the pen.

We charge a service charge of £25 plus postage plus parts. Should you decide not to proceed with the repair, the pen will be returned and only postage will be charged.

Sometimes although not often we get caught out. Some repairs may need parts which we simply do not have.

All vintage pen repairs are guaranteed for the original fault for three months from the date you receive them back from us.

If the pen is still under the manufacturers guarantee please ensure that a till receipt or guarantee card is enclosed when sending the pen in. Providing the repair is carried out by the manufacturer under guarantee then the only cost incurred will be a handling charge of £15.

Most repairs have a turn around of 10 working days, however, this time may increase for some pens.
